ACT OUT YOUR TALENT
CBHS is known for its culture diversity and talent pool. We have an active component of enthusiastic pupils and educators taking part in a wide variety of dramatic and visual art disciplines. Pupils act and compete in a shows, concerts and competitions on a local, national and international level. A variety of competitions and events throughout the year encourages more pupils to take part in the various clubs and societies that embrace cultural aspects of life.
Aims & Objectives
Addressing the needs of all our pupils from Grade 8 to Grade 12 we endeavour to;
- promote the development of talent in arts & culture
- encourage creative use of leisure time through practising cultural activities
- extend the range of experiences in arts & culture to all students
- provide experiences which reflect variety, vitality, challenge, achievement, joy, maximum participation and personal satisfaction
- develop an understanding of the arts and the diverse culture of peer groups
- assist each student to attain their full cultural potential
- provide opportunities for leadership, initiative, responsibility and self-esteem
- provide opportunities to learn the disciplines of a variety of cultural activities
